Opening Day is around the corner! What better way to honor America’s favorite pastime than by engaging students in poetry? Educators, please share this opportunity with students, families, and staff in your schools.

⚾ The National Baseball Poetry Festival invites students in grades 4-12 (and Little Leaguers) to participate in a Youth Poetry Contest. Each student may submit one poem (200 words or fewer) with a baseball or softball theme. Winners in each age category (elementary/middle/high) will read their poems in a ceremony at Polar Park in Worcester MA.
Deadline: Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
