WOODSTOCK — The National Baseball Poetry Festival will kick off its third season next month with two national poetry contests.
The first contest will be open to students in grades four through 12, and the second will be open to adults over 18.
The deadline for the adult contest is March 28, and the youth contest deadline is April 16.
The festival will culminate on May 2-4 in Worcester, Mass. It will begin with a welcome reception, a youth poetry event, an open mic night, two Triple-A baseball games, a fireworks display and other activities.
